The package price includes all training, and training materials and the following:

Examinations

The examination fees due to the UK CAA are charged at cost, and therefore this package is subject to review. If you take up the package, we will arrange for your examinations. The package includes the South African PPL Skills Test fee, the South African PPL theory exam fee, all 14 JAA ATPL theory exams, the CPL Skills Test fee, the MEP Class Rating Test fee and the IR Skills Test fee. Any re-test fees due in the event of failing to pass an exam or flight test first time are additional.

If you take up this package, you will be accommodated on campus in South Africa on full-board terms. Any additional days accommodation will currently be charged at the rate of ZAR210.

Uniform is mandatory for Phases 1,2 and 4, and optional for the other phases. You will also need training equipment such as navigation equipment, a headset, pilot’s bag, etc. The package includes the uniform (which must be picked up when you sign your contract OR you must pay for shipping to SA)

We will require evidence that you have adequate insurance for medical expenses in South Africa; otherwise we strongly recommend, but do not insist, that you take out insurance covering your life and loss of medical category to cover your course fees, and travel risks. You can either make your own arrangements, or we can put you in touch with a specialist insurers who can arrange this cover as a package.

You will need to arrange accommodation for your ground school brush ups, exams and your final phase training at Bristol.

You will need approx £35 for the visa fee and £600 for the security deposit for South Africa because you will be studying there for longer than a year.
