We charge £40 (plus VAT) for the on-line tests. There is no charge for subsequent stages.
We have places for 5 trainees per course, approximately.
This is listed on the previous web page.
We strongly recommend that you are covered for the cost of the course for loss of life, loss of your class one medical category, and medical fees coverage while in South Africa; indeed we insist on the latter. You may arrange these insurances yourself, or we can put you in touch with s specialist broker who has put together a comprehensive package to cover these risks.
You will need a JAA Class One Medical certificate before starting training. You don’t need it before applying, but we recommend that you satisfy yourself that you will reach the required medical standards before you commit to significant expense. Your first class one medical should be completed by a CAA staff doctor; renewal medical examinations are less costly as they can be conducted by CAA Authorised Medical Examiners. See this link to the CAA Medical Department’s website .
At this time no finance is available for this package.
