Nasib Otaqui

Our longest serving instructor having joined BFC in 1987, the year the company was established. Nasib is well known having successfully taught so many students who are now flying for major airlines around the world. A former chartered accountant he has over 7,500 hours and now instructs predominantly for the Instrument Rating. 

Russell Frost (Head Of Training)

Bristol born, Worked in Mechanical engineering until discovering passion for flying. A Helicopter trial lesson started a career change. PPL in Florida 1997,PPL/IMC Instructor Aeros Glos/Filton 2000 – 2002. Returned to engineering due 9/11 and slump in market, Dec 2004 – present CPL/ME/IR Instructor at Bristol Flying centre. Head of training since Sept 2010, Class rating examiner/Instrument rating renewals since Dec 2008, Unrestricted instructor rating

Enjoys Football (watching nowadays)..!! and golf (playing).

Mike Beeston (Chief Flying Instructor)

Learned to fly in 1976, became a full time flying instructor in 1990, primarily in the southwest of England, eventually specialising in Flight Instructor courses. Joined the staff at West Michigan University’s International Pilot Training Centre in 1999 as a flight instructor for the JAA Integrated CPL/IR courses.

Returned to the UK in 2001, holding Head of Training and CFI posts at an Exeter Based FTO. Qualified as an authorized Flight Examiner for CPL , FI, and IRR/CRE

Flew maritime surveillance patrols on UK fishery protection based out of Exeter on the F406

Flown 8000hrs on over 40 types of piston and turboprop aircraft, ranging from vintage biplanes, multi-engined radials to state of the art aerobatic aeroplanes.

 

Kevin Morgan

Kevin trained in the UK and Florida , whilst also working as cabin crew for Thomsonfly for 20 years. He began full time instructing with Aeros , before joining Bristol Aviation . Currently , he has over 3000 hours instructing.
