ATPL Flying Theory For Pilots
The theory training and examinations may be conducted separately from your flight training, or alternatively along-side. And then there are distance learning, or taught options. A full-time taught groundschool is relatively expensive, and time consuming, and many students find that the best part of 6 months in a classroom not to their liking.
We suggest two options; one option is distance learning course, done at your own pace. The market leaders by far in this field are Bristol Groundschool. Alternatively, if you are doing the hour building phase with us in South Africa on the Professional Pilots Programme, you can do our taught groundschool course using a combination of lecture, self-study and Computer Based Training. We have found this to be the most effective method, and has the benefit of allowing you to carry on your flight training at the same time.
